Measuring

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel to a wall, mark the longest toe, and measure heel to mark in centimetres. Measure late in the day, and use the larger foot.

A guide, not a rule. Sizing runs differently between brands and even between models — when a pair is known to run small or large we say so on the product itself.

How we grade

Five grades, not three. The wider the ladder, the less room there is to quietly sell a worse pair at a better grade.

PREMIUM+: Effectively unworn. Deadstock or as close as the resale market gets: no creasing, clean soles, original insoles, box where we have it.
PREMIUM: Worn a handful of times and looked after. Light toe creasing at most, midsoles clean, everything structurally untouched.
EXCELLENT: Clearly worn, clearly cared for. Visible creasing and light sole wear, no damage, nothing that shortens the life of the pair.
GOOD: Honest wear. Creasing throughout, some discolouration or scuffing, tread still good. These are made to be worn again.
FAIRThis pair: The most worn we will list. Real marks, real mileage, and priced for it. Everything is stated and photographed before it goes up.
